The Sound Company was conceived in 1977 by George and Marty Chalfant with the goal of bringing our rural area brand name selections of audio and video equipment at competitive prices. Now, 27 years later, it is still going strong with an expanded product line, a custom installation team and great prices.

LOOK, LISTEN & COMPARE
From the beginning the Sound Company has offered its customers the opportunity to hear, see and compare various combinations of components in its “sound room” where six to eight screens are on display with various surround sound systems to give you a real-time opportunity for comparison. Each of our components are custom adjusted for optimum color and sound to give the customers an experience that will help them make decisions that best suit their individual sensitivities. Choose between numerous fine sound systems and among televisions that feature standard or wide format, standard or high definition, CRT (cathode ray tube), LCD (liquid crystal display), rear or front projection and plasma display.

BEST NAMES AND PRODUCTS
The Sound Company carries brand names you know and trust such as Sony, Mitsubishi, Yamaha, JVC, Paradigm, NHT, Monster cable and more. We also carry names such as Loewe, which you may not be familiar with. The German built Loewe television delivers a picture that is more real and lifelike than any other, so much so that you feel you could reach into the screen to pick a flower.
